I learned from a very early age, I must prove myself with dependability, consistency and focus. My professional interests have been shaped by moments such as climbing Aztec pyramids behind Frida Kahlo’s footsteps. It was then I found my inspiration beginning with the Advertising Club. I rose to the top of Ohio University’s deans list, propelled by the Caesar-Parks-Chavez scholarship Award. A few years and one powerful essay later, I sought the opportunity to study cinema & graphic design at the Florence University of the Arts, in Italy. My essay was selected, paving the way for a lifetime of creative thirst. I came home to complete my Bachelor of Arts, from The University of Tampa, specializing in media production & technology, as well as business. I began to feel the exhilaration from a good kind of pressure. I woke up with excitement and energy no matter what kind of long day lay ahead. I had completed over one hundred episodes of TV production for The SPEED Channel as Associate Producer, when offered my first job on a studio feature for Warner Brothers, called Dolphin Tale. Not long after, I was officially sworn into the filmmaker’s labor union IATSE. Through sheer teamwork and ingenuity, colleagues have become family.
I thrive in the wide array of tasks often required with my technical, managerial and creative skills. I truly enjoy the process and the variety of challenges when it comes to production because I am resourceful. I am a freelance Producer, creating specialized content with OneKreate for Under Armor, Walmart, Rubbermaid, Bed Bath and Beyond, and many more. I am proud of projects with Kreate Films and have been challenged by the likes of Directors such as Tim Burton and Kenny Ortega. My objectives are to utilize & expand my already strong production skills, so to attain the desired results as the job demands. As my work demonstrates, I am exceptionally well-organized, deadline-oriented, motivated, creative and show the initiative to achieve both personal and group goals. Such proven strengths include trouble-shooting, budget management, promotional writing and multi-tasking in fast-paced environments. Other traits include being adaptable, as well as having an understanding of conflict resolution and time management. I have consistent experience working firsthand on features, television, shorts, documentaries, as well as custom commercial spots. An expertise in production management, video editing, computer graphics, design and a wide variety of computer programs such as Excel, Word, Photoshop to Adobe Premier and Final Cut Pro entail my technical skills.
